Are you worried what happens with the data you just entered to register at a new website? Or your personal data on your phone? That some company might use it for their own benefit, sacrificing secrecy and personal space in the process. A global study of consumers reveals nearly half (48%) are suspicious about how companies use their data. Based on a poll of more than 18,000 consumers across nine countries, the ‘New Rules of Customer Engagement’ study finds that one in five consumers don’t trust any businesses to keep their information safe.
