INTENSITY DEFEATS EXTENSITY EVERY TIME

Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great (Mark Twain). If you feel worthless and try to suppress those feelings you will never be able to do what it takes to improve. If on the other hand, you come to terms with your negative self-views and accept that you are not as good as you would like to be and especially that you are unhappy with yourself you will be able to focus on what you need to do to improve. Hide your weaknesses and you will always be weak, accept your weaknesses and then work to improve them and you will eventually be stronger and more confident. It’s like everybody wants to be rich but few people are willing to do what it takes to attain those things, which suggests they don’t really want those things as much as they say or think. Remember you build your future it’s not handed over to you. You don’t die if you fall in the water, you die only if you don’t swim. In a situation like this when we don’t have the correct roadmap we make deliberate attempts to increase our confidence which is bound to result in failure and demoralize you, whereas attempts to improve your performance can result in not just competence gain but also a genuine boost in your confidence. Lack of confidence isn’t the problem lack of confidence is actually the means to a solution. When you actually accept your weak points, your flaws and your imperfections then you can motivate yourself to make changes and improve. Do not let ego come in the way and stop you from learning. People who believe that they can succeed see opportunities where others see threats. REMEMBER “people aren’t upset about not getting the job/opportunity, rather they are upset that “I didn’t show them WHO AM I “. People generally accept a negative concrete outcome, like not landing a job if they felt like they presented themselves well.  Success in challenging situations is about leaving without regret and feeling satisfied they you did the best you could. To be successful you have to roll up your sleeves, get into the trenches and get comfortable with the details and operations. This is where the heart of business lies. Many people wait for something to happen or someone to take care of them. But people who end up with the good jobs are the proactive ones, who are solutions to problems, not problems to themselves, who seize the initiatives to do whatever is necessary, consistent with correct principals to get the job done.  Some people sense of security is based on the opinions of other people, and they worry about what others might think. Emotional states are as infectious as diseases. Associate with the happy and fortunate people. Any time we think the problem is “OUT THERE” that thought is the problem. There are two simple principles of life. First just lower your expectations of life to the point that you are not disappointed by anyone or anything. The second and contrasting principle is of growth and hope throughout the history is the discovery that “I am the creative force of my life”. “Self-serving bias” and “vain brain “ always/most of the time serves the purpose for us which excuses our mistakes and faults or simply ignores them and we say the problem is out there. It’s like when you can’t quit smoking, you will convince yourself by the way you see smoking. You will say to your self-smoking isn’t so harmful. Life does not give us what we need, life gives us what we deserve. If I want to get more, I need to deserve more, to deserve more I have to render greater value. Our value is measured by the size of the problem we are capable of solving. You solve bigger problems, you make more measurable contribution to the organization you become more important. There is all the difference in the world between regretting something and doing something about it. Sometimes the best path lies, where you can 1)     Learn the most 2)     Can get the best experience 3)     Can make the most impact. Good luck and remember Fortune Favors the Bold. “Be an Encourager. The world has plenty of critics already”.
