Bulgaria Ranks Third as World’s Most Attractive Outsourcing Destination
According to a recent study by the world’s largest privately-held commercial real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield, Bulgaria ranks third in the world and first in Europe as the most attractive destination for outsourcing.
Bulgaria has moved up 11 positions since the last study in 2014 and continues to establish itself among the leaders of the BPO market worldwide.
The report mentions the low tax rates in the country as well as the benefits it receives from membership in the European Union. The labour pool provides a strong international language base, with 98% of the students studying a foreign language and 73% at least two foreign languages. Over 60,000 students graduate from Bulgarian universities annually.
The country is well-known for having a developing outsourcing market. Microsoft, HP, IBM, and Coca-Cola are just a few of the many international brands that have set up offices there.
Bulgaria is the only European country to ever climb up to third place, which shows the tremendous potential and possibilities the country has to offer.
Overall, the Business Process Outsourcing sector continues its rapid growth triggered by economic and other challenges companies have had to face over the past few years. New business models are required in order to keep costs down and make operations run efficiently. Countries such as Bulgaria have managed to establish themselves as suitable options for providing outsourcing services.
