RTA honors best outsourcing companies, vendors in 2015

HE Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), has recently decorated the best outsourcing companies & vendors of the RTA in 2015 in recognition of their contributions to RTA’s efforts in realizing milestone achievements, be it related to public transport, infrastructure or other services. The ceremony, which was held in RTA’s auditorium, had been attended by a host of CEOs, Directors of RTA as well as representatives of several businesses & entities providing services to RTA. The list of felicitated vendors included Systra (Dubai Branch), which won the best engineering consultant award; INFORMA Middle East Limited (Dubai Branch), which won the best administrative consultant award, Wade Adams Contracting Company, which won the best mega construction projects contractor award (more than AED20 million), Intelligent Telecommunication System, which won the best small construction projects contractor award (less than AED20 million), Emirates Driving Institute, which won the best distributor of RTA services & products award, the Real Image TV Production LLC, which won the best services & material provider award and City Star Employment Services LLC, which won the Dubai SME award. Al Tayer stressed RTA’s keenness to bolster bilateral & cooperative relationships with private entities considering them strategic partners contributing to various projects undertaken by RTA. “This felicitation is a gesture of recognition of efforts of contractors & suppliers who delivered excellent jobs in 2015 contributing to realizing RTA’s ambitions,” he noted. “This open gathering with representatives of RTA’s vendors hosted by Contracts & Procurement Department is a manifestation of the existing bilateral cooperation aimed to achieve more prosperity and raise the profile of Dubai as a premiere business and economic hub in the region,” said Saeed Al Marri, Director of RTA’s Contracts & Procurement. “Challenges and ambitions are huge, and what RTA has achieved or will be achieving in future is a natural progression of RTA’s efforts to revamp the infrastructure and achieve integrated roads network and mass transit systems.
